If this were the last night of the world,

I’d thank him for my years of past history.

If this were the last night of seeing stars in the night,

I’d thank him for the sparkles in my life.

If this were the last night of their world,

I’d thank him for our connections of love.

If this were the last night of our dreams,

I’d thank him for wishes that came true while we sleep.

If this were the last night of my world,

I’d spend my last hours walking lost in the wild.

If this were the last night of nights,

I’d thank him for finally allowing the sun to rest.
