I was 9 years old, my sister was 5 & my two cousins were 8 & 9. We had the count down at the Northward building, with their mother “babysitting”. My cousins, sister & I were so excited because we had a bottle of apple cider to “op” open at midnight. We lived on the 4th floor, that were going to blast off at midnight.
10, 9, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1!
HAPPY NEAR YEAR1 NEW MILLENNIUM YEAR 2000!
We waited for the end of the world to come while sipping apple cider & hugs & kisses! Phew we made it to the year 2000.
